The current Ivan track is sweeping perilously close to New Orleans. I haven’t heard anyone comment on this, so I thought I’d bring up the fact that if New Orleans gets a direct hit by a strong hurricane, it’s widely expected to be catastrophic. If you’d like to read up on this:
